Extended Yoga Class & Gong Bath

Yoga Herts Posted by Yoga Herts on

We’re running an extended yoga class and gong bath this November, in collaboration with Dipika Jinabhai, who many of you will remember from our charity event in May.

We had such positive feedback after her gong bath for the charity event it seemed silly not to put something on with Dipika once or twice a year.

The day will consist of an extended yoga class and gong bath with a 15-20 minute break between.

Chakra Balancing Yoga Class

2:00pm - 3:15pm

The yoga class will be themed on the seven chakras which are also known as the seven major energy centres in the body, running from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.

Through this yoga practice we will use breathing, postures, visualisation and meditation to stimulate and balance each chakra in turn to promote harmony, healing and vitality.

By the end of the class you will have a better understanding of the chakra system, how they relate to your overall well-being and start to bring more balance into your life.

Gong Bath With Dipika Jinabhai

3:30pm - 4:45pm

There is no water involved in a gong bath. It is called so because you will be bathed in therapeutic sound vibrations from the sidereal moon gong as well as other healing instruments such the Himalayan singing bowl and chimes.

You don’t have to do anything except lie back and listen to the sounds and let them take you on a magical relaxing journey.

A gong bath will increase your theta brain waves causing deep meditation and psychic awareness. Each cell in the body will feel the harmonising vibrations therefore encouraging our innate ability to self-heal.

Self Heal

Can be a deep relaxing experience in which you can Self-heal and find inner peace.

Reduce Stress

Can be a powerful tool for reducing stress, anxiety and mental emotional blockages.
