The Om Yoga Show is on at Alexandra Palace next week from 19th to the 21st of October.

It might not be for all of you but if you’ve never been before it really can open your eyes to the amount of yoga that actaully goes on in all the various styles and ability levels that you’ll see on the day.

It can be a great social occasion, with lots of different kinds of yogis there, and also a bit of an eye opener.

It’s great if you just want to have a wander around, as Alexandra Palace is an interesting place just on its own.

Free Classes

Om Yoga Show 2017

There are also lots of free classes on the day but they can get quite busy, as it’s a first come first served basis but usually you will be able to get a place if you plan ahead.

You can get two tickets for the price of one if you go on the website Groupon and type in the Om Yoga show. You can also buy tickets on the day.

There are also lots of free tickets going around on Social Media. Just have a look on Twitter for giveaways.

Your ticket will also get you into the Mind Body and Soul Experience next door too which is also worth a look.

Trade & Food Stalls

Om Yoga Show 2017

There are always lots of trade stalls to browse around selling various yoga related items and equipment, and usually some interesting food stalls too that do tend to be vegetarian.

We are hoping to get some nice gifts for the next Tuesday Tombola while we are there, we’ll see if we can find anything nice and keep you posted.

Inspiring Teachers

I always do some classes when I go, and this year I’ve booked to do classes with Andrea Kwiatkowski who I’ve done quite a few workshops with locally over the years, she really is a great teacher.

I’ve also booked a class with Sylvia Garcia, who incorporates a lot of headstands and balances into her teaching, and can be quite challenging. I’ve never done one of her classes before, so I’m looking forward to it. She is very popular on Instagram.

If you’re interested you can see a full list of presenters here.

The British Wheel of Yoga

The British Wheel of Yoga have got a lot of their own instructors there this year, which isn’t usually the case, and all of their classes are free, so probably worth a look while you’re there.

All in all, it’s a good day, though I do usually wear myself out! Even Richard is coming this year!!!
