We hope that you've been having a good month so far and have enjoyed exploring the theme of the five koshas - a system to work with in order to discover our 'True Self'.

The outer layers on the koshas focus on the physical body, and the breath and then get even more subtle as they move through the mental, wisdom and bliss layers. Feeling the subtle layers is essential for mastery of your inner world.

As August is a bit of a funny month with classes not running due to the rooms being used over summer and being away over bank holiday, the rest of the month will focusing on integrating the five koshas into each of our yoga practices as it's also a good recap if you missed any of the weeks and it's also good just to get more familiar with them.

The benefits of exploring the koshas in our yoga practice range from being able to find comfort and solace within your body deepen our practice, know yourself on a deeper level, experience more joy, happiness, satisfaction, and contentment and this expansion in terms with how you see yourself can help you deal better with certain situations, relationships or mental patterns.

Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.
